Update on Forest Farms, Jaisalmer, June 2019.
We’ve captured 120.000 liters of water
Our first trial in harvesting rainwater had early success. In May we had three unexpected days of rain. At that moment we were preparing to harvest expected rainwater in July and August. Now, one of the planned wholes is already filled with 120.000 liters of water! This is more than sufficient for one-month drinking and irrigation water.
We know that one simple whole is basically enough to harvest rain. So what would be the result when we would make use of natural water flows? Currently, we are working this out.
